Although you definately strive to be logical you care about people and know there's a time and place for thinking emotionally. Your head rules most things but your heart rules others, and getting them to meet in the middle takes a lot of your energy some days.

Your saturation level is higher than average - You know what you want, but sometimes know not to tell everyone. You value accomplishments and know you can get the job done, so don't be afraid to run out and make things happen.

Your outlook on life can be bright or dark, depending on the situation. You are flexible and see things objectively.

the spacefem.com html color quiz

Name: Kid
House: Slytherin
Year: Sixth year!
Talent: ...err. Damn handy on a broom--he functions as Slytherin's A+ beater.
Other: GOD I DON'T KNOW HOW TO TRANSLATE HIS BACKGROUND. Err. So his dad was a prominent figurehead in the wizarding world--something something I'm too lazy to think of it right now, but. His father was a damn talented wizard and, for the want of following in his father's footsteps, Shien had magic drilled into him from the start. As such he's...well, gifted, quick on his feet and an easy hand at complex things. But at some point he cracked, shipped out of his dad's house and received his Hogwarts acceptance letter under the alias "Kid". A few words with the headmaster and eventually to the entirety of Hogwarts, Kid was Kid was Kid and that was that.

Kid is pure-blood and a fantastic Quidditch player. Gets high marks in all his classes. Is also a gigantic hobo and can be seen skulking around with a cowboy hat. Never seen without Tetsuma. A very low-key student.

Death is probably the most well known Tarot card - and also the most misunderstood. Most Tarot novices would consider Death to be a bad card, especially given its connection with the number thirteen. In fact this card rarely indicates literal death.Without "death" there can be no change, only eventual stagnation. The "death" of the child allows for the "birth" of the adult. This change is not always easy. The appearance of Death in a Tarot reading can indicate pain and short term loss, however it also represents hope for a new future.

<table border="0" width="300"
KID AND MAMORI

Kid does not think this is a great idea, no. As far as he's concerned he's pretty much catching a chick on the rebound which, as public TV tells him, is kind of not very good at all. He also thinks he's the only person in the entire universe who ever thinks things through sometimes.

Kid likes Mamori a lot.

This is your moderately typical high school relationship, guys, and while he IS completely and utterly prepared to give her what she wants he knows for a fact he isn't what she needs and that this is all really only temporary until, A, they go home and Hiruma's there or B, Hiruma comes back. He is very conscious of this. It doesn't really depress him or even drag him down all that much and if it ever ends, especially because of Hiruma, then Kid will let it end quietly and also probably be more annoyed than depressed. Kid anticipates failure.

Kid often wonders if he's the kind of guy who always wants the things he can't have, but if he actually gets them he doesn't know what to do with them. Or worse, stops wanting them.

Kid knows there are other fish in the sea, that Mamori isn't exactly the most unique and special snowflake, etc. He doesn't really care and, when she was with Hiruma, didn't put any energy into finding someone else to fixate on because he figures these things pass when they pass. He'd like to avoid hurting Mamori at any cost, including his own expense, but--while he said there was a lot he would do, the inverse also applied: there's a lot he wouldn't do for the sake of just preserving the relationship.

Kid has problems with the word "girlfriend".

Kid just generally has problems with things that might make him happy. Because he is a massive failure at everything ever.
ABEL AND ALBERT

Abel originally bought Albert at the bachelor auction because of some mild and bizarre physical resemblance to Tres. Also he wanted a bitch and a heterosexual life partner in camp. But then people put gay in his cereal. You bastards.

Abel is okay with entering a not-relationship in camp right now because as far as his head is concerned, he's in a good place. His last encounter with Esther managed to convince him that it was really worth trying to be a part of society and reinforced his belief that he can do good things for people, so he's not as--distanced from people, he's getting up close and personal with them and, well. Shit happens when you do that, and before Albert turned into a chick he was pretty much on the same level as Esther was up to TB volume four in terms of general significance to Abel, how fond he was of Albert, and also notably how far he'd be willing to go to make sure Albert's head doesn't get eaten, except--there's no "just a kid" or "like a daughter" mental roadblock to get over, so pretty much it boils down to the usual obstacles: Crusnik and Abel's own inability to get close to people.

When Albert walled him as a girl pretty much every instinct told him to end the relationship right there. But then he realized that would be a shitty thing to do.

If anyone lays a finger on Albert Abel is going to quite literally eat them alive.

Abel has this thing about putting his mouth on Albert. Which is, in fact, exactly what it sounds like. But is somehow completely unrelated to the previous point.

(NO VORE)

Albert is a FRIEND FIRST and not-boyfriend second, and while Abel does consider himself a positive aspect of Albert's camp life, if someone else came along who Abel figures would be an acceptable substitute for him then he'd step down quietly because he is Abel and has a myriad of problems.

AND WITH THAT

I HIATUS. Till next Wednesday, 'cause, err. Moving.

IKKAKU

Two things to keep in mind here--one, Ikkaku is from a shounen manga. Two, Ikkaku is a shounen retard. Basically you can hit him and hit him and stab him and break his bones and he will struggle to get up with this 8DDDD look on his face and proceed to do his damnedest to kick your ass. Possibly failing miserably in the process but hay.

Is KT realistic about injuries? Well, uh, for starters unless someone getting maimed is a MAJOR PLOT POINT...pretty much everyone in Bleach has about eight more pints of blood than your average person and has reasonable maneuverability even if you actually see their joints get struck repeatedly to the point where they should be nice and crunchy. Notably Ikkaku sustains considerably light injuries in his fight with Ichigo--long slice up the arm and down the torso, head wounds, beatings, etc. but all kinda mild--and is still somehow knocked unconscious, even after sealing his injuries with his medicine...whereas in his fight with Eduardo he nearly gets decimated and still has it in him to whip out a bankai that we're told puts unbelievable amounts of strain on his body.

Ikkaku does get hurt realistically! Knock out his teeth, break his bones, dice him up--prick him and he bleeds, basically. But, uh, Ikkaku's reactions to injuries? Not...very...realistic. Beat the shit out of him and he'll still move around and about--partly due to the fact that he's an asshole...and partly due to the fact that he is sort of used to injuries by now and functions in spite of any pain he's feeling, because he's one of the biggest jackasses in a series full of jackasses. Shinigami are seasoned warriors for the most part and extremely durable and won't go down in just a few hits.

Yeah, he can be killed, but he's got the roach syndrome: he'll pretty much refuse to die until he knows without a doubt he can't continue.

Doesn't mean he isn't ENTHUSIASTIC but hey! Summarily: Ikkaku can be physically injured just like any other person, but his tolerance for pain is kind of incredible and he can function under almost any kind of physical duress. Also he has a lot of blood in his body. Also, I figure if he actually LOSES any parts--teeth, arms, fingers, whatever--he...could probably order a new body from the store but I don't wanna do that, guys, it's creepy

Also of note is the fact that he prefers to get patched up manually rather than magically, he has biases.

WATANUKI

...is not a fighter, is very much a lover. Takes injuries VERY REALISTICALLY. Watanuki was pretty much gonna die after falling out of that third-story window, which by camp standards is kinda tragic. He bleeds, he breaks, he feels pain very substantially, he's a squishy humanoid and I really don't want him getting hurt too badly out there. His body reacts well to both healing magic and ordinary first aid, though.

RUKIA

...Rukia goes down a LOT QUICKER than Ikkaku and Ichigo. This is because, A, Rukia's injuries are almost always plot points. The whole series hinges on that Hollow maimin' she got in chapter one, and Grimmjow gets to give her the doughnut treatment so Ichigo has a reason to feel bad about himself. Rukia DOES have a substantial tolerance for pain--as in if something hurts she'll refuse to show it out of actual physical endurance and also dignity--but...her ability to function under certain amounts of duress is...far less, ah, significant than Ikkaku's. If Godzilla stepped on Ikkaku he'd clamber up and go HAHAHA IS THAT ALL YOU GOT BITCH? If Godzilla stepped on Rukia she'd just kind of lie there and twitch awhile and stagger to her feet with substantial difficulty.

However, unlike Ikkaku, Rukia is capable of healing herself. Her regenerative capabilities are a lot quicker than Ikkaku's because she has the magic, the Demon Arts, and if it came right down to it she can use spells on herself to repair her own injuries. Her ability to use magic sort of declines with the amount of energy she has left--basically, she can cast these healing spells more readily if she isn't too worn down.

Rukia has a preference for magical healing because she's more efficient than Ikkaku that way; she needs to be up, about, and functioning and she likes to minimize her own personal downtime, especially since a lot of the time Rukia is operating a corpse puppet and injuries she sustains carry over to both her forms (her fake human body and her shinigami body). Ordinarily she'll patch herself up the best she can and rest awhile, letting her physiology do its own work from there.

KID

Kid is human and not that big, strong, or generally impressive in terms of pain tolerance and regenerative capabilities. Injuries are quite realistic, though Kid is notably a lot more prudent about them than pretty much all of my other characters--as in he will actually go out of his way to avoid getting injured because he's aware of his own physical limitations. He will bleed and break and wince--I'm not really looking to getting him maimed in camp because, yes, he's careful and also he just isn't punching bag material. Scrawny seventeen-year-old quarterback? Come on, guys. Anyway if you wanna heal him go ahead and work your mojo or whip out your first aid kits, Kid just isn't meant to stay injured for long and he doesn't have much of a reaction either way.

ABEL

...ahahaha uh Abel is...durable

--okay. In his ordinary form Abel DOES get injured. He has a very high threshold for pain and will function seamlessly after you give him the pincushion treatment, after you break a stained glass window and shove the shards in his back, after you shoot him multiple times in the chest--he will twitch, sure, but he will get up and he will be all o___x;; ...but he can function. Now, you CAN beat the living shit out of him. Petros broke his bones, crushed his organs, threw him through concrete, the list goes on and on--and he was still functioning but just barely hanging on. He got exhausted and he started coughing up blood and his body started failing him.

The thing is, the more you injure him, the more the nano-machines in his blood try to protect him. If he gets really desperate, he activates the Crusnik. The Crusnik is always a last resort. Always. His tolerance for pain, his ability to fight, at 40% activation it all goes OVER NINE THOUSAND and also he can regenerate, A+ there. Knives get swallowed into his body and EATEN. At 80% you can blow his torso off with a cannon and it will grow back.

In the end, Abel can't die. He just can't. He's been decapitated. He got better. The Crusnik are actively protecting him, preserving him.

As such, Abel will NEVER need medical attention, neither magical or manual. If he gets injured in a fight and someone flips out over it he'll just make up an excuse to get away and he'll be perfectly fine the morning after.

...I realize Kid needs like eighty billion essays because...he's...been...around?

Re: Kid/Mamori: I...yeah, okay, I wasn't exactly counting on it, no. Kid and Mamori came in around roughly the same time, which was October when the nasties were out to play and, hell, Mamori and I happened to be online at the same time and Kid just ended up saving her ass a lot, which is kind of where it starts, I guess. The thing is from a meta POV the things they say and do are kind of dull but...there's a peculiarity to this I sort of like, actually, because. While Kid has his quirks, they are essentially these two sound of mind and relatively pleasant and old for their age seventeen-year-olds who each was only mildly aware the other existed before camp. And they just got to talking and hanging around and...it's a sort of stable point, I think, that Kid counts on--that Mamori is predictable in a way, that Mamori is both a dime a dozen and unique and special, that his relationship with Mamori is kind of normal and that it took a very normal turn: he started to like her and she started to like someone else. And I was like...well, canonically everyone likes her anyway. The fact that Kid's Kid just equates to him being excessively understated about it, to the point where if he didn't do these impulsive and incredibly obvious gestures now and then one wouldn't have been able to guess.

And the thing is, Kid is a smart guy. Kid knows he can't relate to Mamori the way Hiruma can and he also knows that not many people can relate to Hiruma the way Mamori can--and this in the end was what made him back off. Kid has a lot of capacity for manipulation and if he was really pressed he could have commandeered that relationship expertly, he could have gotten the girl, he could have won but...he knows, on a level that she probably wouldn't have been aware of in the same way, it wouldn't have been worth it for her. Kid knows. He just does.

And I think--and Kid knows--that the fact that he likes Mamori is...healthy for him, in a way, because he's stubborn and emotionally retarded enough that it's just good for him to feel strongly about anyone. I sort of adore how they turned out--with Hiruma/Mamori happening and Kid outright SAYING he was backing off ("it would be particularly unkind of you to ask me to do anything more" or something in regards to the possibility of his pursuit of a relationship)--because...yeah, it IS in Kid's nature. It's good for him, really, both that he didn't win and that he ended it the way he did, because...he's emotionally mature in this way. If they hooked up it would have been sweet and adorable, but Kid will always be restrained by his complexes. It all boils down to Kid thinking he's not worth anything worth fighting for, and being far too okay with that for his own good. I really like how this one turned out, and unless something drastic happens Kid is really infinitely (but not bitterly) disinterested in the idea of ever liking anyone again anytime soon the way he liked Mamori.

Also--and I have to get this out now or no one will ever buy it--he...didn't actually have it as bad as anyone thought he did. What. OOC or IC. He is NOT actually significantly emotionally attached to her and if they went home and promptly never spoke again he'd be a-okay and the same as always. The fact that I consider his attachment to Mamori one of his more prominent bonds in camp...well, that does in fact equate to Kid being a fucked up kind of detached. I don't think he'd bother to initiate contact maintenance post-camp, either.

In other news!

Kid/Sasarai or what the hell ever is comedy gold. Semi-planned as in HEY, LET'S MAKE OUT after we realized they were kind of the same person. It's hot. Is it healthy? Hell no. It's pretty much symbolic of their respective psychological disorders. Is it good for Kid? Well, yeah, actually, it's something of a handy outlet for all that pent-up crazy. Would they ever date? ...are you kidding me? It's not a BAD relationship but in no way is it good or functional. Also, yes, Kid does consciously innuendo at Sasarai sometimes but isn't affected or disappointed or surprised if Sasarai doesn't take the bait. Actions speak louder and all, what. I think it's pretty hot myself and it doesn't need a direction, and I'd be surprised if it ever took one.

Kid/Katou is...also comedy gold. Personally I think this is one of Kid's healthiest relationships because...uh, well, it's the whole "show me your Frankenstein" thing--Katou has been exposed to pretty much the worst of Kid, really, and Kid doesn't have much else to lose by being a little freer with it around Katou because Katou doesn't give a shit and...that...works out really well for him. It's not good, but it's not as bad as it could be, and it's pretty detached. There is an element to a lot of Kid's relationships--even his relationship with Mamori--wherein the other party could leave his life forever and he wouldn't bat an eyelash; it applies here too, though I could see them still having the same dynamic after time has passed provided they stick around.

So Kid is Shien now. Shien is tiny and adorable and kinda somber and kinda...disaffected.

THE SHIEN ESSAY

In lieu of writing another essay on this entirely, I'll just sum up the concrete facts we're given in canon thanks to Hiruma's exposition and flashbacks, sans speculation.

Shien is the heir to the house Musyanokoji, a respectable Japanese family--respectable as in, yeah, pretty swanky social circle and also freakin' loaded. Think gigantic mansion with courtyards big enough for people to get lost in. Shien lived in this house with his father. They had a chauffeur named Tetsuma whose son Shien would sneak out of the house and away from shooting practice to play football and hang out with. Now, why does Shien have shooting practice of all things? Because daddy Musyanokoji Hajime is a three-time Olympic gold medalist, expert gunman, and he's built Shien's life around following in his footsteps.

Generally, then, from canon you can surmise a couple of things:

Kid's upbringing was technically pretty awesome. Hajime cashed in on class, and he had a lot of money to shell out in such regards.

Shien didn't get out much, as evidenced by how he has to sneak out to play with a friend Hajime doesn't actually know he has.

In relation, Shien practiced his shooting a lot. Gunfire at and away from home. They go to tournaments, they come home and they practiced some more. Hajime had Shien's priorities sorted out for him.

Shien most likely did not attend a public school before middle school or Seibu. A private school being equally unlikely--I doubt Shien had the time for an 8-3 school schedule.

Shien was Hajime's pride, but they weren't as close as Hajime likely believed they were.
...right. Rampant speculation starts here!

As a child Kid's environment was very...controlled. Hajime devoted a lot of time, money, and energy into sharpening his son's talent and into raising Shien proper--but Hajime did not have much of a personal hand in Shien's emotional development. Shien was Hajime's pride, and he was well-fed and well-clothed and well-trained and consistently complimented, but there was a certain absence of parental affection--IE, uh, not enough hugs. By the time Shien was ten years old he was eloquent and intelligent and also did not have a strong emotional connection with his father, or really with anything, and he knew it. Kid likely has considered them estranged since before he left the house--Shien doesn't discuss his insecurities with Hajime in canon because he...obviously doesn't think Hajime will listen or care. It's this kind of thing that makes Shien feel as though what he wants doesn't quite matter, which is why he's very slow to talk about what he does and why he does it and if he wants to do it: it's not something he's ever brought up with anyone not Tetsuma. In turn he's...also kinda slow to trust because, less self-preservation and egotism than common sense, he won't bring up his innermost feelings to people he automatically defaults to not giving a damn.

Shien was also far from properly socialized thanks to what was likely a private at-home education! Hajime being a man of class and all, many of the people Shien knows are probably highbrow acquaintances of Hajime that Hajime introduces him to. Shien at this point is used to people doing the talking for him, to introducing him. He's used to being referred to and thought of as Hajime's son. He's formal and polite because...well, he knows etiquette, and he's extremely well-educated at this age, undergoing a fairly intensive education that later permits Kid to sleep through classes and junk.

And, finally, Shien is kinda used to getting what he wants. Materially speaking. So long as it didn't distract him from what he was supposed to be doing...yeah. Not exactly a spoiled brat, but he's pretty much got or could get his hands on everything a kid would want or need except for hugs and parental affection.

...As a result of all of this, Shien in camp is this polite and eloquent child--and a little reserved and withdrawn with a very mild haughty streak. He doesn't have a whole lot of people experience/real world experience, obviously, and it sort of shows in how he interacts with people. He's much more comfortable talking facts than, you know, THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS and junk. He's very rational and reasonable about the nature of camp and people telling him he's actually some crazy hobo cowboy because...well, he is really unsettled but he's going to handle things logically and inexpressively, because that's...just how he's handled things up to now, and there's not much else he's used to.

SO YEAH, Kid has problems, inquire within.

...either random or things I keep in mind while playing him.

TWENTY FACTS ABOUT MY KID

Updated 12/24.

While Kid does have caffeine binges now and then, more than any other drink he actually usually keeps a carton of orange juice in the fridge. He drinks it in camp, too.

Kid is pretty damn secure in his sexuality, or lack thereof. He considers himself straight and is secure in that and doesn't feel the need to prove it by...actually liking a girl. What. The fact of the matter being that he doesn't pay a whole lot of attention to either sex in that regard. Sex isn't something he wants to think about or feels naturally inclined to think about; he's not actually as terrified of WOMEN PARTS as he seems, and he has acknowledged women as good-looking or just plain hot in the past.

That said, if he woke up one morning and realized he was gay, he wouldn't bat an eyelash. Not because he wouldn't be surprised, because, yes, there would be a brief moment of WTF there, but because he just doesn't give a crap and it wouldn't change anything.

Brain sex, for Kid, is...more psychologically stimulating than mentally. As in he doesn't need to be pushed in order to think and calculate and win against you, but he does need to be pushed in a certain direction for his intentions to take a real turn towards fucking your shit up good. Note that it's only enjoyable for him about twenty to thirty percent of the time--a lot of the time it's just plain unpleasant, though. And yeah, he has to be slightly non-conned into that kind of thing. Cornered and pressured. H-hi, Hiruma.

Kid can and will sleep just about anywhere. He will sleep in. He will sleep early. He will sleep for a number of hours spanning double digits. Incidentally he gets fits of insomnia that keep him running for days at a time without seeming any different or more tired than usual. And under duress, he is capable of either sleeping or staying up for days and days. Also, for some reason he doesn't like people seeing him in the process of waking up, so in the cabin he either wakes up obscenely early (when Hiruma and Shin are probably the only ones awake, and Shin's probably out practicing by then) or obscenely late (when no one's around).

Kid reads. A lot. Mostly in private, or he goes straight to the library. Though he has a TV in his flat in Tokyo, he reads more than he watches, and because he can't afford more than one or two bookcases, he likely has stacks of books lying around in corners and kitchen cabinets. Stacks.

Growing up in a high-class family... Shien was extremely well-educated by the time he left the house. He was privately tutored. At the age of ten or eleven he knew not just how to fire a gun and do it right--he knew things, everything else: math, languages, history and sciences and the arts. Lots of stuff, basically, and also rich people hobbies, whatever you define those as. Kid is pretty much breezing through high school because of this education, and for the want of the "normal" life he left home to have, he hasn't actively considered graduating early or taking college courses, and is content with seeming just...smart for his age, if people bother to notice.

Kid can draw and sketch extremely well.

Kid likes his conversations circular and pointless. He can talk with you pleasantly for hours and have you perfectly sized up at the end--without actually having revealed anything new or interesting about himself. Note the fact that he won't tell you anything isn't a measure of how much or how little he likes you--it's just the way he is. And he never says what he's thinking. While his are...pretty well-formed opinions and ideas, he won't throw them out there. He's perfectly okay with other people making crappy decisions for him.

If there's anything Kid isn't bitter about regarding his past, it's his father. He's not angry with Hajime over the kind of person Shien became or the environment Shien grew up in. Thinking of his father at the most makes him a little worse for wear, a little tired, a little sad. If he ever speaks with Hajime again in the future he's not going to turn the conversation around and say "it's your fault". For the pressure and neurosis and expectations--Kid doesn't really blame anyone who said "just what you'd expect from Musyanokoji's son," and this includes his father.

This being the case because Kid blames himself for everything ever.

Kid knows he's a genius. His success rates--in both school and on the football field and with a gun in his hands--don't lie to him. He knows he's perfectly capable of doing anything he sets his mind to. He's a rainmaker. ...he's humble, though, to an absolute fault, and he will never call himself a genius out loud, but it's something he knows, and it's something people told him over and over when he was little, and it's something people tell him now.

Similarly, he doesn't feel like he has anything to prove to anyone, but he's not adverse to, well. Showing off, I guess, though it's not for the sake of showing off. In America, Seibu's coach goes to buy guns. Kid accompanies him, where they meet Hiruma, Sena, and Monta. While trying out a gun, Hiruma pulls one of the most badass shots in the history of mankind--no, really, it should be pretty impossible to pull off a shot like that. And coach is like, who the hell is that? Kid's like, that's Deimon, they were on TV against the Americans. And the coach is like, FOR REAL? Then the coach shoves a gun in Kid's hands and says WELL, SHOW THEM SOMETHING. And while Kid sighed and grumbled about it a little, he did take the gun. He knows he's capable and it's a-okay with him if people don't think he's capable, but if someone wants to be shown something he'll bitch and moan but he'll give them what they want and leave it at that.

Kid loves Tetsuma. SURPRISE. Really, though, Tetsuma is Kid's most important person. Tetsuma keeps Kid sane and without his robot he'd be a permanent resident of crazy town.

That said, Kid recognizes Tetsuma as stronger than he is on levels physical and otherwise, and relies on Tetsuma for protection. And if a group of people were in danger and Kid had to choose between protecting people and protecting Tetsuma, he would try and save the people because he knows and believes, intrinsically, that Tetsuma is capable of protecting himself. If Tetsuma did get seriously hurt one way or another in camp, Kid would freak the fuck out and he would go on the offensive against the perpetrator. Even if he didn't stand a chance, and he was fully aware of the fact. He'd still flip his shit.

Being forced to see Hiruma on a daily basis is, tragically enough, one of the best reminders for Kid that he's alive.

Kid cooks like...well, a young man living on his own. Like a college student. He goes out to eat if he can. He is not a great chef and his fridge at home is made up of boxed dinners supplemented with the occasional raw ingredient.

Kid's pretty uncomfortable being seen without his cowboy gear for long periods of time. Sure, he'll walk around without his hat but there's always a tacky buckle or scarf or something or even chaps that...pretty much distinguish him as the local cowboy. However, wearing normal clothes--just pants and just a shirt and no hat--makes him look and feel a little more vulnerable, more tangible than he's supposed to be. The clothes making the man and all. He's really not the same person without them.

The people who have copies of the keys to Kid's apartment are as follows: Tetsuma, the coach, Ushijima, and the manager. The coach and Hina relish in barging the hell in and bossing him around; Ushijima doesn't drop by all that often because he doesn't feel the need; and Kid sees Tetsuma every day without fail. Incidentally, these are pretty much the only people who know exactly where Kid lives and how to contact him outside of school. Kid's fine with random people in his flat because there are really no relics there whatsoever from the life he left behind, and therefore nothing there that needs hiding.

Kid is pretty fond of Riku and thinks of him as a sort of younger brother. While they don't joke around or have a whole lot of senseless fun, they have a kind of camaraderie Kid doesn't have with the rest of the team. They click.

Kid could not shave for days and it'd...really get to about this kind of state and stay that way until he picks up a razor. This'll probably change as he gets older--daddy Hajime had a mustache, after all--but, uh, then again, so will his shaving habits.

Shien's mother is out of the picture, I think. I lean towards her being dead because there was nothing really contrasting Hajime's enthusiasm to have his son go and fight and win, and therefore not a whole lot besides Tetsuma to keep Shien's head going in the right direction. There's also the possibility Shien's mother was pretty much the same as Hajime, but...there's no sign of a mother in Kid's angst or flashbacks. Just Hajime. And still no parental affection.

That said, Hajime's pretty peppy for a bachelor, and Kid has no mommy issues because he likely never knew his mother, and as far as he's concerned with one parent or two things would have turned out the same. (...pessimist.)

I doubt I'll need to retcon this one since it's unlikely it'll ever come up in canon, and it's unlikely it'll ever come up in camp either, 'cause Kid doesn't talk about his family life. Or act like it exists.

Kid cuts his own hair. Every couple of months or so he reaches for a pair of scissors and snips some of it off without looking in a mirror. If he neglects to for awhile, and it starts growing out, he ties it back and then cuts that off instead. Kid's hair is pretty uneven because of this kind of stuff, and he doesn't take great care of it, exactly.

Similarly, except not really, when he buys jeans he rubs them down with sandpaper and washes them about ten times in cold water. Aside from the polished belt buckles and the bling and maybe hats he's given as presents, nothing of his ever really looks new.

One word. Boring. Sums you up to a tee. You're responsible, trustworthy, serious and down to earth. Boring. Boring. Boring.

You play by the rules. You follow tradition. You encourage structure.

You insist that EVERYBODY do EVERYTHING by the book. Seriously, is there even an ounce of imagination in that little brain of yours? I mean, what's the point of imagination, right? It has no practical value...

As far as you're concerned, abstract theories can go screw themselves. You just want the facts, all the facts and nothing but the facts.

Oh. And you're a perfectionist. About everything. You know that the previous sentence was gramattically incorrect and that "gramattically" was spelt wrong. Your financial records are correct to 25 decimal places and your bedroom is in pristine condition. In fact, you even don't sleep on your bed anymore for fear that you might crease the sheets.

Thankfully, you don't have anyone else to share the bed with, because you're uncomfortable expressing affection and emotion to others. Too bad.

*****************

If you want to learn more about your personality type in a slightly less negative way, check out this.

*****************

The other personality types are as follows...

Loner - Introverted Sensing Feeling Perceiving

Pushover - Introverted Sensing Feeling Judging

Criminal - Introverted Sensing Thinking Perceiving

Almost Perfect - Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving

Freak - Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging

Loser - Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiving

Crackpot - Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Judging

Clown - Extraverted Sensing Feeling Perceiving

Sap - Extraverted Sensing Feeling Judging

Commander - Extraverted Sensing Thinking Perceiving

Do Gooder - Extraverted Sensing Thinking Judging

Scumbag - Extraverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving

Busybody - Extraverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging

Prick - Extraverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiving

Dictator - Extraverted iNtuitive Thinking Judging

...the math's pretty loose but, uh. ENJOY.

MADARAME IKKAKU (insertbaldjoke)
VOTED IN AT: 81.8%
# OF COMMENTS (AS OF 12/12/2006): 22,004 (70%/total)
APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF COMMENTS PER DAY: 66
CRAP GOES HERE: Shit, I type in a lot of caps lock. Anyway! Ikkaku is my heaviest hitter, this being because I spammed a lot with him when I first got him because I was slightly dumber than I am now. But it turned out good! Really! He's got solid relationships and everything. Uh. I have no idea how I've been able to keep up with his voice for so long. It's not...really even a good voice, and as a matter of fact I've always had problems with what I do with him, which is. Basically everything, yeah. But maybe as a result of that horrendous character mutilation he's become really sort of versatile. I applied for him because I stalked CFUD quite a lot and I was into Yumichika/Ikkaku at the time and mackzazzle was Yumichika and then there was Yachiru and I was like, WHERE ARE THE GAY UNCLES. So I scrawled down Ikkaku's application about a week or two before the round opened, looked over it myself, sent it in, made it in at about eighty percent.

I wasn't very active in the Bleach fandom when I thought of applying for him? But it was after I got in that my appreciation for Bleach sort of exploded. Now I'm a little burnt out because KT's a whore and it's starting to drag out and on. But I love the Eleventh Division still, so...s'cool. I probably won't drop him for some time 'cause he's built way too many connections such that a handful of people would have to drop first before I'd so much as consider it.

As a sidenote, I do extrapolate a lot of his little voice quirks from moonsheen's work--fan fiction and the like, also another RP.

LACUS CLYNE (inthequietnight)
VOTED IN AT: 94.4%
# OF COMMENTS (AS OF 12/12/2006): 618 (1%/total)
APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF COMMENTS PER DAY: 5
CRAP GOES HERE: ...right. Lacus. Oh, Lacus.

I watched SEED because, yes, I love our SEED cast and Lacus really struck a strong chord with me as a character. I love her! I still love her. I have like eighty billion character essays I never posted on her journal. I had a pretty good comprehension of her and what made her tick and she was glorious and she topped really well in direct contrast to Ikkaku's, ah, record.

...she was my second character and she stressed me out a lot, heh. Over getting across all the little quirks and depths that I wanted to portray in her--that she wasn't just WIFE OF JESUS. She wasn't having the kind of impact she ought to have, she wasn't doing the things she should have done--I was just doing a really crappy job of getting across what makes Lacus Lacus, and it bummed me out a lot and I felt like I was letting the SEED cast down. I dropped her with the hopes that someone else could pick her up and do all the things I just. Couldn't. ♥ Lacus.

WATANUKI KIMIHIRO (slaveforyuu)
VOTED IN AT: 83.9%
# OF COMMENTS (AS OF 12/12/2006): 1924 (6%/total)
APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF COMMENTS PER DAY: 15
CRAP GOES HERE: I spent about a month in the summer--July, I believe--in Canada spending time with my family, during which I spent two weeks completely shut off from IRC. Then I started monopolizing PC time, so that was okay. I hung around using the IRC applet and Ikkaku made his grand return two weeks into July. And towards the end of the month, there was going to be a voting round.

...I wrote Watanuki's app completely on a whim, yeah. Wrote and sent it in about...half an hour, maybe an hour and a half after apps opened? It...kind of shows. It's sloppy and unedited and just kind of hilariously bad and I didn't actually expect it to go anywhere--even less so after I checked the voting post. Bam. Quintuple app. I closed the window and went to bed and really didn't feel bad about it because I really did just pull that one out of my ass.

The next day my inbox said HEY BITCH, YOU GOT IN, so I was like. What. What is wrong with you people. ...So I didn't end up making his account till I got home, heh. His username is SO VERY CLEVER.

I love Watanuki. I was a big whore in the HOLiC fandom about a year ago and while I burned out on it early 2006, I still checked up on it from time to time, I know I completely skipped an arc or two but I'm good about checking up on his canon regularly now! I even buy the official volumes because they're GOOD. Watanuki is a relatively simple character to play, very straightforward, secret bucket o' angst but that's alright, he's CLAMP. He's...not difficult to play, but actually I didn't get too solid a handle on his voice until recently, when Doumeki and Himawari got in. Also I love them. Also there's always this PROBLEM with WHAT SIZE FONT SHOULD I USE? HOW MANY EXCLAMATION POINTS? IS IT OKAY TO BOLD AND ITALICIZE THIS? WHERE DID I PUT THAT SPARKLE CODE?

...but he's easy to play and fun and such an altruist and a big dork, and he really does fit right in with camp and camp's idiosyncracies, and I'm happy with him. Also, he's kinda gay.

KUCHIKI RUKIA (whitesleeves)
VOTED IN AT: 70.8%
# OF COMMENTS (AS OF 12/12/2006): 1506 (5%/total)
APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF COMMENTS PER DAY: 14
CRAP GOES HERE: Oh, Rukia. Lowest percentage on an app ever, double app, scrawled down about three hours after applications opened and probably the most difficult one of the lot. SEVENTY PERCENT, BABY. Doesn't get much closer to the wire than that.

She's incredibly fun, but...she's also one of the most complex characters in the series, and actually really rather difficult to play once you get past the cracky surface of her that's really retarded and snobby and confident--she's a bundle of issues and complexities and. It's hard. I like to think I have a decent comprehension of Kuchiki Rukia in comparison to a good chunk of fandom, but it really does feel like it isn't enough a lot of the time. I'm not dropping her anytime soon, of course, but...at times I really do feel like I'm just. Not. Getting it. That I'm doing absolutely everything wrong ever. Please tell me! I feel awful sometimes especially since I have a lot of fun with her, but FUN SHOULD NOT BE OOC. I. Yes. ♥ Rukia and...yeah, okay, if someone showed me a Rukia app I think would get in, then I'd probably drop her. There are a bunch of Rukia essays that are waiting for me to write 'em but for now I'll settle for saying bad things about fandom and shooting down popular opinions. GO ME.

KID (rapidfirebrain)
VOTED IN AT: 89.5%
# OF COMMENTS (AS OF 12/12/2006): 5593 (18%/total)
APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF COMMENTS PER DAY: 85
CRAP GOES HERE: ...well. You know, the first draft of the Kid app sounded exactly like Ikkaku. Without the exclamation points and the speech quirks, but--same caustic elements. Shit, look at Ikkaku's app and look at Kid's app and...they really do seem a lot similar. I was a little shaky on that at first, but--I actually played Kid and breathed a huge sigh of relief when it turned out that, yes, they were nothing alike. And now Kid gets out a HELL OF A LOT MORE THAN EVERYONE ELSE because he's become the character of mine that's easiest to play because YOU DON'T NEED ENERGY TO PLAY KID: fact. He's lazy and he can drop threads in favor of taking a nap and he likes a robot better than pretty much ALL OF CAMP--hydr0phobia's got her work cut out for her!

Originally Kid didn't ping me too hard, actually. I read Eyeshield and fell in love with the manga, and then I thought. SHIT. I WANNA APP SOMEONE FROM HERE. But I couldn't decide who. Then I reread the Seibu chapters and thought, wow! There's a loser in a cowboy outfit! IT'S A GIMMICK, I CAN WORK WITH GIMMICKS. Actually I had Kid's app roughly written in, like, September but I didn't send it in until the October round after I decided I actually wanted to pick him up. It...was easy to write and the voice redeemed the actual lack of humor.

Kid is incredibly easy to play, but he also lends himself to a lot of essays and justification and things because--yes, he's really featured in two volumes and a couple chapters, but the things that happen are things from which I can extrapolate a lot as a player. He's not quite as simple as I thought he was and not quite as sane as I'd hoped, but, shit. Makes it FUN. It's why in the course of two months he's gotten more comments than anyone else who isn't Ikkaku. Combined! Apparently I like playing the ones with thinly-veiled problems, who knew. He's easy because he goes out of his way to be boring and skirts around important things and is avoidant and a total hobo, and sometimes I feel like I'm laying it on a little thick with the crazy, but that's okay since he bounces back without a hitch. EMO COWBOY, except our resident cutter is Sakuraba; Japanese fandom told me so. Sigh.

HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN PLAYING HERE?: Just under a year, yeah.
MY TOTAL COMMENTS AT campfuckudie: 31645

...the rest speaks for itself. Uh. I'm getting better at the balancing characters thing ♥ I'm actually comfortable with the rate at which all four get out these days (THE STATISTICS LIE). I dunno if I'd be able to handle five characters again 'cause I haven't checked out any new canons since Eyeshield anyway and also, NEEDS MORE K'S but, uh. I think I'm good! I'M SET. And will have been here for a year around this time next month. GG, internet. GG.

You might just be an intelligent lover who needs to be mentally engaged, or perhaps you have some dirty dark secret kinky desires, but either way, you're never boring.

You can be a little shy in bed, so maybe this means that you'd prefer to have sex in the dark, or maybe just that you have all sorts of naughty ideas bubbling under the surface but can't quite work up the confidence to speak about most of them. Sometimes it takes you a while to speak up about what you like, and you aren't very confident in your talents but I bet your lovers would say otherwise, I'm sure your sweet nature is far more welcome than egotistical boasting.

You tend to be submissive in bed, so you prefer to go along with what your lover likes rather than your own plans. You might like being ordered around and acting out a slave/master fantasy, or perhaps you just get turned on by being helpless and unable to move. Or maybe it's as simple as you lacking courage so prefering firm instructions in bed to make sure you are doing things right. Either way, you won't be dominating your lover anytime soon, and might prefer the missionary position to any others.

You would rather Receive than Give. This usually applies more to Oral sex than anything else, and other types of foreplay. This could be for a number of reasons. Maybe you are just very hooked on the sensation of orgasm, maybe you feel you deserve to be treated like a god/goddess, maybe you just aren't confident about your skills when it comes to returning the favour. Maybe you are lazy. Or maybe your partner loves to give and that suits you fine, so everyone is happy. Either way, remember to be a giver sometimes too, as long as your partner likes it.

WE SUGGEST YOU TRY:
Dressing up and roleplay. You've got the imagination to be fully involved in a costume fantasy. Will you be a naughty nurse or a perverted policeman? It's all your choice, act out the roles and enjoy being someone else for an evening.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 99% on imagination

You scored higher than 99% on confidence

You scored higher than 99% on dominance

You scored higher than 99% on generosity

RIGHT WELL

Kid did some pretty rockin' things! Some the good kinda rockin', some the bad kind, okay, we can get through this: he assented to one of Hiruma's dares; he tried and succeeded in being Hiruma Youichi for a few days; he snogged Katou; he denounces the whole thing publicly; he gets smacked around quite a bit (by Tetsuma even); Tomo actually helps him get his groove back, possibly without even knowing it; he apologizes to Mamori; and tomorrow?

Tomorrow's his birthday.

...so, mini-essay meme for Kid again. You can ask about anything Kid-related--what he thinks about snogging, his birthday, the endzone OT5 (Harley, Hiruma, Mamori, Katou, and himself--the pentagon from, uh, tasty southern hell), being someone else. Anything! Everything!

GO.

Mini-essay!

SO YOU KILLED A THREAD WITH KID, or Kid killed a thread with you. This can happen for any of the following reasons:

hydr0phobia got distracted.

You got distracted.

You got bored.

Kid got bored.

Kid is boring.
...Kid is boring. Kid is so very boring. Kid talks but Kid doesn't actually say anything.

Why, yes, I will write essays on all four of my characters and playing them and the way they talk to other people. But for now, I just thought you all should know--KID IS BORING. KID IS VERY BORING. KID IS THE MOST BORING PERSON ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET.

That is all.

(What I cannot essay on:

How the hell Kid got so many comments in less than four weeks.)

results were moderately high which suggests you are relaxed, calm, secure, and optimistic.

Orderliness results were medium which suggests you are moderately organized, hard working, and reliable while still remaining flexible, efficient, and fun.

Extraversion results were low which suggests you are very reclusive, quiet, unassertive, and secretive.

trait snapshot:
introverted, secretive, reclusive, tough, non social, observer, fearless, solitary, libertarian, detached, does not like to lead, outsider, abides the rules, mind over heart, good at saving money, does not like to stand out, does not make friends easily, self sufficient, not aggressive, likes the unknown, unconcerned with external opinion, strong, abstract, independent, very intellectual, analytical, high self control

The trait snapshot's probably more relevant than the bolded stuff, heh. Mostly because I have qualms with the "optimism" and "fun" bits.

Also of note is the fact that apart from physical fitness (football player, what) his highest score is cautiousness!

That's.

Yeah.
